Random

Today I received an email. And I LITERALLY laughed my ass off.

Previously, I've sent an email to the University.

Subject: Location for Re-sit Examination

To: Whom It May Concern,

Regarding the matter above, I understand that under normal circumstances I would need to return to Manchester in August to retake the modules I have failed. However, I am currently engaged in an internship at Ernst and Young (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) ending on 27th August 2010, and my time spent here as a vacation trainee will only be certified upon full completion.

Therefore, I would like to enquire if there are any alternatives as to where I may re-sit the examination. Being granted the option to do so in Malaysia will allow me to save extra costs for accommodation as well as flights, and most important of all, enable me to complete my internship.

If possible, I would like to re-sit the examination at my previous university, KDU College Malaysia, which is affiliated to the University of Manchester and also where I sat for the 1st year examinations of my course. Or as an alternative method, the British Council, Malaysia. Regardless, I will accept any method the University of Manchester wishes to adopt.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your kind consideration for my predicament. Please find enclosed proof of my internship offer from Ernst & Young. Should you need any other form of verification, I am more than happy to furnish you with the necessary documents. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 006-017-2298416 should you have any queries.

Thank you.

Best regards,
